Deinfluence yourself from classic spaghetti and meatballs; mini meatballs cook faster, are bite-sized, allow for more browning, and have a better texture. Save this recipe for your next dinner!
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
2. Soak the breadcrumbs in 2 tablespoons of water. Then, add the minced onion, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, and all the seasonings (basil, garlic powder, oregano, rosemary, fennel, cayenne, salt, and pepper) to the breadcrumbs.
3. Add the ground beef to the mixture. Mix until well-combined, then form into small balls using a teaspoon.
4. Heat an oiled pan over medium heat and add the meatballs. Fry until browned on all sides.
5. Add the jar of marinara sauce to the pan with the browned meatballs. Then, add the cooked spaghetti.
6. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve hot with extra Parmesan and fresh basil, if desired.
